Re-imagined Series
Caprica is a large blue-green planet, similar to Earth.
Its largest centre of population is Caprica City, which serves as the seat of all three branches of the Colonial Government (Executive, Legislative and Judicial).
Other major centres of population included Delphi, famous for its museum and spaceport.
Prior to the Cylon attack, the population was widely spread between cities such as Caprica City and Delphi, and smaller hamlets such as Oasis.
In the new Quorum of Twelve, Caprica is represented by Doctor Gaius Baltar.
After the Holocaust, a resistance movement was organized on Caprica by survivors working to actively oppose the Cylon occupation.
In the video game, Caprica was presumably the "parent" settlement of New Caprica.
