The Code is a philosophy adhered to by Borellian Nomen. The Code dictates how they should live their lives, and seems to emphasize a very strict, military-like existence. Judging by Maga's comments regarding punishment, such punishments for breaking The Code tend to have a low survival rate.
A few things revealed about The Code include:
- Nomen cannot be unarmed;
- Nomen cannot draw their weapons without thinking (TOS: "The Man with Nine Lives").
