Esai Morales (born October 1, 1962) is the American actor who will portray Joseph Adama in Caprica.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he previously worked with Edward James Olmos (William Adama) in both Miami Vice and American Family.
In genre television, he portrayed Major Edward Beck in the short-lived CBS series Jericho, and appeared in episodes of two well-known anthology series: the 1990s revival of The Outer Limits and the 1980s revival of The Twilight Zone.
