Jill Teed is a genre actress, having appeared in a range of guest roles for the likes of The X Files, Stargate SG-1, Sliders, and The Outer Limits, as well as films such as X2 / X-Men 2, Mission to Mars and Fear of Flying. More recently she played Maggie Sawyer, a Metropolis police chief, on Smallville. She portrayed Sergeant Hadrian in the first season of Battlestar Galactica.
She currently resides in Vancouver with her young daughter.
