Grace Park (born March 14, 1974 in Los Angeles, California) is an actress who portrays the various Number Eight Cylons (notably Sharon "Athena" Agathon and Sharon Valerii) in the Re-imagined Series.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Park's family moved to Vancouver in Canada when she was 22 months old. Grace considers herself to be a Canadian, while also recognizing her Korean heritage.

Park broke into film with a small role in the Jet Li movie Romeo Must Die. In the few years following, she appeared in episodes of The Outer Limits, Beyond Belief, Dark Angel, The Immortal and Stargate SG-1. Following this, Grace Park was one of the last two finalists up for the role of "Kara "Starbuck" Thrace," the other being Katee Sackhoff, who ultimately got the part.

During a 2007 interview, Park discussed her approach to playing the multiple versions of Number Eight. She explained that she differentiates the characters by drawing upon their unique experiences, which have shaped them into distinct individuals despite being the same model. She contrasted Athena, who has found a family and forgiveness, with Boomer, who exists in a "darker space," lacking family or a sense of purpose.[1] Park also recounted an encounter with director Quentin Tarantino, a vocal fan of the show, who had specifically mentioned wanting to meet her before an awards show. She joked, "I think I had to download that and just like burn it, save it for my grandchildren."[2]

She also starred in the Canadian television series Edgemont (with future BSG co-star Dominic Zamprogna) and the 2007 real-time strategy game Command & Conquer 3: Tiberian Wars as Lt. Sandra Telfair, a member of the GDI Forces.

Park holds a degree in psychology and speaks English, Korean, some French and Cantonese, and is currently improving her Spanish.

Park co-starred in the Summer 2008 TV series The Cleaner, and in the fall of 2008 joined the cast of the Canadian crime drama series The Border.

Park co-starred in another re-imagined series: Hawaii Five-0.
