Bert Rosario (born November 15, 1945) is a Puerto Rican-American actor who portrayed Hal Fredricks in the Galactica 1980 episode "Spaceball."
Career

edit sourceBorn on November 15, 1945, in Juncos, Puerto Rico, Rosario appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career.[external 1] In the beginning of his acting career, Rosario starred in comedies including the Julie Andrews film S.O.B. (1981), The Beach Girls (1982) starring Debra Blee, and the Madonna film Who's That Girl (1987).[external 2]
Rosario appeared in a number of television specials, including the presidential biographical miniseries Roosevelt and Truman (CBS, 1976-77) and The Rita Moreno Show (CBS, 1977-78).[external 3]
His television work includes appearances on numerous series such as Remington Steele (1982), Seinfeld, Chicago Hope, Ally McBeal, George Lopez (2003), The Shield (2005), Boston Legal (2005), Charmed (2005), Freddie (2006), ER (2009), and The Neighbors (ABC, 2012-14).[external 4]
On George Lopez, Rosario guest starred as Octavio Palmero, Vic's brother, in the Season Three episode "Fishing Cubans."[external 5]
Film Career
edit sourceRosario's passion for acting continued to his roles in projects including the comedy Blue Movies (1988) with Steve Levitt, the action film Cold Justice (1991) with The Who rock band member Roger Daltrey, and the Tom Berenger suspenseful adaptation Shattered (1991).[external 6]
Rosario had a number of different projects in the early 2000s, including Deep Core (2000) starring Craig Sheffer, the animated film The Road to El Dorado (2000), and Blow (2001) with Johnny Depp, in which he played a Bank President in Panama.[external 7][external 8]
His film credits also expanded to In the Cut (2003) with Meg Ryan and My Boss' Daughter (2003).[external 9] Rosario is best known for his work in Get the Gringo (2012), Remington Steele (1982), and The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992).[external 10]
