Robert Reed (born John Robert Rietz, Jr on 19 October 1932 in Highland Park, Illinois, died 12 May 1992) was an American actor.
Television viewers of the 1970s remember Reed best as Mike Brady, the patriarch a large family in the long-running series, The Brady Bunch (itself based on the film "Yours, Mine, and Ours).
Reed's television filmography includes many guest and recurring roles, including Mannix, Medical Center, and The Defenders.
Reed guest starred as Donald Mortinson in the Galactica 1980 series premiere, "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I".
Reed died from complications of colorectal cancer at the age of 59.
