William Phelps Greer III (July 8, 1936 – September 23, 1993), credited as William Cort and Bill Cort, was an American character actor who portrayed Captain Trent in Galactica 1980's "Space Croppers". His performance in that episode was uncredited, but he was identified through computer-aided facial recognition.
Born in El Paso, Texas, Cort's appearance span from 1970 through 1990, including guest appearances in Adam 1-12 (with Kent McCord), Airwolf, and Quantum Leap, and roles in the films Heathers and Elvira: Mistress of the Dark.
