Battlestar Galactica has a fairly standard weight room to maintain the crew's physical fitness.
In "The Hand of God", Kara Thrace spends time in the weight room rehabilitating her broken knee on a leg press machine. Commander Adama uses this machine to show to Starbuck that her knee is not yet fully healed and that she is not ready for the upcoming combat operation. Leg strength is particularly important for Viper pilots; acceleration can magnify the force needed to press the pedals dramatically.
In "Scar", Starbuck pushes herself lifting weights to vent her frustration about Scar and Kat, while Helo spots her.
