Cylonics are mechanical, bi-pedaled robots created by Professor Baltar during the Ovion Wars (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 1) utilizing the raw materials on the Colonial prison planet Helia (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 2).
Meclons originated as a Cylons cautionary myth regarding a caste of rogue Cylons (vol3).

Coordinated by the babbage computer Lu-c-fer, the Cylonic Knights were able to turn the tide in the Ovion Wars. Following the end of this conflict, Baltar used the Cylonics in his quest for personal power, thwarted by Archduke Adama and the Quorum.
The term is later adopted by cybernetic, bi-pedaled creatures who transited through a black hole and unto a planet in a universe of Iblis creation; these original creatures were Cylons (vol3 & ).

Baltar, Lu-c-fer, and the Cylonics went into exile, settling on the planet Gamoray. From there, they established a presence and created larger armies to return and wage war on the Twelve Colonies.
These separated Cylons built a new empire under the direction of Count Iblis, scavenging both raw material and other sentients in order to bolster their number (vol3).

Knights are armored, featuring a single eye-slit with a "roving" red eye that moves to and fro. Knights are capable of basic speech consisting of various whrrrs interspersed in statements, e.g. "by whrrr command."
They are, however, not pure technological constructs as the raw brain power is from organic life. Wayward travelers ensnared in the grasp of the black hole and misfortunate enough to survive upon the lone planetary surface are hunted down by Meclon Centurions, and transported to factories for their integration as subjects of the Meclon Empire (vol3 & ).

For weaponry, Knights have guns in their arms, the muzzles to which are located in the palm. Knights may also use hand-held weaponry.

This article has a separate continuity.
This article is in the Dynamite Comics separate continuity, which is related to the Original Series. Be sure that your contributions to this article reflect the characters and events specific to this continuity only.

Meclon Centurions depart their Raider to harvest survivors for integration into their Empire (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #2).

Meclons originated as a Cylon cautionary myth regarding a caste of rogue Cylons (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #4).

The term is later adopted by cybernetic, bi-pedaled creatures who transited through a black hole and unto a planet in a universe of Iblis creation; these original creatures were Cylon (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #3 & #4).

These separated Cylons built a new empire under the direction of Count Iblis, scavenging both raw material and other sentients in order to bolster their number (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #3).

Meclon Centurions[edit]

Count Iblis oversees the bolstering of Meclon forces in a factory (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #3).

Centurions are the backbone of Iblis' Meclon Empire, and are organized along the same lines as the Cylon Empire, with a Command Centurion in gold armor and standard Centurions in silver armor.

They are, however, not pure technological constructs as the raw brain power is from organic life. Wayward travelers ensnared in the grasp of the black hole and misfortunate enough to survive upon the lone planetary surface are hunted down by Meclon Centurions, and transported to factories for their integration as subjects of the Meclon Empire (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #2 & #3).

Meclon Raiders[edit]

A landed Meclon Raider on the surface of Iblis' planet, its occupants searching for survivors (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #2).

Meclons primary craft is a variation of the Cylon Raider space superiority craft. These Raiders are used primarily to hunt and ensnare marooned survivors for integration into the Empire (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #2), and later made use of Raiders as weapons themselves in kamikaze runs against the Ship of Lights to devastating effect (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #5).

Upon entering into Iblis' realm, the strength of Meclon Raider craft is enough for Lucifer to consider his basestar's retreat from their first engagement against them, and to seek sanctuary with the humans they previously hunted (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #2 & #3).

Technologically speaking, the Raiders are mostly automated, and take three people to operate with relative ease. They feature a life-support system that is human-breathable, given the Meclons cybernetic nature (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #3).

Notes[edit]

 • The Meclon "cautionary myth" is dismissed by Lucifer as a completely failed "early attempt" at control programming (Classic Battlestar Galactica Vol. 3 #4). Given Iblis' influence over the Cylons leading into the Thousand Yahren War with the humans, Iblis' likely attempted to program more than his voice into the Imperious Leader. As Lucifer is part of the IL-series, his knowledge of these cautionary myths is quite possibly unique amongst the other Cylon classes.
