The Chosen One
I was thinking that "The Chosen One" referred to in this instance is Chief Tyrol. The Hybrid says "the five lights of the apocalypse rising struggling towards the light, the sins revealedonly to those who enter the temple only to the chosen one", and since Baltar was not present during the revelation of a few of the Final Five at the end of the Season 2 Finale when Tigh, Tyrol, Anders and Foster converged in the gym.
Should a page be made to describe The Chosen One, which will then be fleshed out when more is revealed? Since its never stated that the Chosen One is a Cylon, but it is implied that it is Baltar by the Hybrid's deliberate focus, it is certainly speculation that Tyrol could be The Chosen One, which would argue against his inclusion in such an article until canonized. Still, I'm unsure if a Chosen One page would be considered speculation, and I was unsure what to actually include in a The Chosen One page, this early in the revelation. -- Vorik111 18:49, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
- It's a logical and strong guess, based on Tyrol's ability to sense the temple, if I were to play with the idea. I strongly suspect it was one of Ron Moore's clues about the five, but I don't think it goes much further. (Note: Links like "Baltar" go to disambiguation pages since there are two characters that share that name as the wiki references both Original Series as well as Re-imagined Series. Use the full name of the character when referencing to avoid confusion, like "Gaius Baltar.") --Spencerian 22:40, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
- Before we create a Chosen One page, I think it's worth noting that this is nothing more than the ramblings of a Hybrid. She/It may turn out to be right, but everytime they show a hybrid they mumble a bunch of crap that sounds important but probably isn't.
- On an unrelated question, where's the little box with the style buttons on this edit page?--RUSnooky 23:14, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
- Regarding the buttons: Try refreshing the page to see if they come up. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 23:27, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
- Correction: The mumble of a bunch of stuff, that's interesting, but probably not important ;) --Serenity 03:31, 13 July 2007 (CDT)
- Important or not, the fact remains the Hybrid's words about the Chosen One have been interpreted in different ways. Number Three concluded she must have been the Chosen One. Baltar thought the Hybrid meant him because she was looking right at him. Vorik111 things the Hybrid meant Tyrol (good reasoning there, BTW). We don't have a shred of evidence for any of these interpretations, and even more different interpretations could be brought up later. The only Chosen One article we can have is one about the possible candidates (some sort of mini-Humanoid Cylon speculation), which would involve some speculation, albeit not as much as HCS. Aside from all that, we know close to nothing about the Chosen One's alleged role: sins would be revealed to them, and to them only, when they enter the temple. Surely this has either already happened or will never happen, as the temple is no more. If indeed Tyrol (or Baltar for that matter) is the Chosen One, what significance will that have in Season 4? If Number Three was the Chosen One after all, does that mean anything now that the temple is gone and the Threes have been boxed? Any attempt to answer these questions is pure guesswork, with no aired events to base it on. This means an article about the Chosen One would contain no more than speculation, guesswork and fanwanking. There's nothing wrong with plausible speculation based on aired events, but since aired events relating to the Chosen One are very scarce, they won't allow for much speculation, not enough to warrant an article IMO. Maybe later, if and when we get more information. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 11:34, 18 July 2007 (CDT)

Dying Hybrid
Wait, who said she was dying? I didn't get that at all from that episode last night. They just disconnected her and they didn't know what that would do. --Tuzaa 19:40, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Natalie says that it might kill her. And she dies on screen. -- Serenity 19:48, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- I have to disagree. We didn't exactly see her die on screen. All we saw was the lights go out. *shrug* --Tuzaa 05:19, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- Don't care much though it looked like it. Mainly I wanted the article to distinguish her and her quotes from the other Hybrids we have seen. Put in any description you think is distinctive enough.--Bradtem 19:36, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- Rebel Hybrid is much more accurate, thank you Tuzaa. We saw her deactivate in the episode, which was the point of disconnecting her, not necessarily die, and a Hybrid is visible in the promo for Guess What's Coming to Dinner. -- Noneofyourbusiness 16:05, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

World not their own
"The denial of the one true path, played out on a world not their own, will end soon enough" - Isn't the First hybrid speaking about the New Caprica settlement? I'd think it should be mentioned as a commentary, or simply made a hyperlink. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tartaros (talk • contribs).
- Welcome Tartaros! Anyway, to answer your question, we don't know if they're talking about New Caprica. They may be talking about Earth, or even on the Colonies. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 01:03, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
She says a lot of stuff...
...especially in The Hub. Personally I think we should explicitly restrict this article now to just the important stuff, as documenting everything is a little tedious. OTW 22:02, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, that occurred to me too. Either important stuff or things that are worded in an interesting way. -- Serenity 22:07, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's mostly what I've been adding, but of course you can never tell what's going to turn out to be important. Would recommend pull the technical interludes into a side-page. After all, Baltar said, "I think everything she says is important" or somesuch. --Bradtem 02:37, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- I think we should at least include the Hybrid's realization that Natalie is dead. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 22:05, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

I added alot what she said in The Hub but theres alot times when ppl are talking over her making hard to figure out wat she is saying. Right at the beginning of the episode she say something about a chestnut tree but i cant figure wat she says b4 or after chestnut tree -- Waffle Iron (talk • contribs)
End of Line
She appears to say this at regular intervals in her speech. It struck me as similar to the "stop" in a telegraph, which indicates the end of a line. ZeldaTheSwordsman 04:39, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
- It seems more likely that "End of Line" is more of a shout out to TRON, than to Telegrams.Drendar Morevo 05:43, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
