Allan Miller (born February 14, 1929) is the actor who portrayed Colonel Jack Sydell in Galactica 1980.

Denny Scott Miller (April 25, 1934-September 9, 2014) was an American actor and writer who portrayed Ser 5-9 in "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I" and "Part II".

After playing basketball for UCLA, he became an actor when he was signed to a film contract by MGM who gave him the lead in their 1959 remake of Tarzan The Ape Man. He became a regular on the western series Wagon Train in 1961 as scout Duke Shannon and stayed with the show through its cancellation in 1965. He spoofed his big-screen Tarzan role in the first of two guest appearances on Gilligan's Island.

His other science fiction TV work included an appearance on Voyagers! (1982) and the original miniseries version of V

Miller was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in January 2014. He died in Las Vegas on September 9, 2014 at the age of 80

According to Gaius Baltar's brother, he doesn't give him any money for tractor parts because he would likely spend it on a card game, betting on the Caprica Buccaneers, or "the Miller's daughter," insinuating that she is a prostitute (Battlestar Galactica: Origins 1).

Miller is a member of Galactica's core command crew.

Miller experiences a mental breakdown at his station, apparently receiving visions regarding the evil nature of the Somnians, and is removed from core command by Jolly (Prison of Souls, Part 1).
