Greg Pak is a New York City filmmaker and writer. His early direction work succeeded with short films such as Asian Pride Porn and All Amateur Ecstasy. Pak is probably best known for his feature film Robot Stories, released in 2002, which won 35 film festival awards.

Pak is also well known for his work on the Marvel comic books Iron Man, Warlock and Incredible Hulk. Pak is the writer of Dynamite's Battlestar Galactica comic book series.

Greg Stacy is an American sound editor who worked on Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome as a sound effects editor, earning an Emmy nomination for his work on the television film.

Career

Stacy has enjoyed a lengthy career in sound editing spanning several decades, working on both feature films and television productions. His expertise in sound effects editing and supervision has earned him recognition throughout the entertainment industry, including an Emmy Award and multiple nominations.

Early Television Work

Stacy established himself in the television industry during the 1980s, working on high-profile miniseries and television films. His work on the NBC miniseries Peter the Great (1986) earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Editing.[external 1] He also won Golden Reel Awards from the Motion Picture Sound Editors for his sound editing work on the pilot episode of China Beach (1988) and the miniseries North and South, Book II (1986).[external 2]

Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Stacy received multiple Emmy nominations for his television work, including nominations for Wallenberg: A Hero's Story (NBC, 1985), The Flash (CBS, 1990), Dallas: The Early Years (CBS, 1986), and the HBO miniseries John Adams (2008).[external 3]

Feature Film Work

In addition to his television career, Stacy has contributed sound effects editing to numerous theatrical releases. His notable feature film credits include The Fugitive (1993), which received a Golden Reel Award nomination for its sound editing team, Virtuosity (1995), and Primal Fear (1996).[external 4] Additional film work includes Child's Play 2 (1990), Midnight Run (1988), Jade (1995), and Life Stinks (1991).[external 4]

Later Television Work

During the 2000s and beyond, Stacy continued his television career with roles as a supervising sound editor on series for various networks. His credits include work as a sound effects editor on Charmed (The WB), for which he won a Hollywood Post Alliance Award in 2006 for Outstanding Audio Post.[external 5] He later served as supervising sound editor on HBO's Getting On, Showtime's House of Lies, and Hulu's High Fidelity.[external 6]

More recent credits include supervising sound editor roles on Teachers (TV Land, 2017-2019), Heathers (Paramount Network, 2018), Knight Squad (Nickelodeon, 2018-2019), Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. (Disney+, 2021), Guilty Party (Paramount+, 2021), The Lincoln Lawyer (Netflix, 2023-2024), Teacup (Peacock, 2024), and Resident Alien (Syfy, 2021-2025).[external 4]

Work on Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

Stacy served as one of the sound effects editors on Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome, the 2012 web series and television film that served as a prequel to the Re-imagined Series. The production was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013.[production 1][external 7]

Greg Tanner is a civilian involved with the Tanner family's enterprises.

He celebrates the outbreak of the Caprica-Sagittaron Conflict with his brothers, Tim and Ben, the latter being the one he often razzes ((ComicsBattlestar Galactica: Cylon War #1)).
