Notes

  • "The Ties That Bind" is the confirmed[1] title of the third Season 4 episode.
  • A Picon delegate is to be cast[3], suggesting an appearance of the Quorum of Twelve, or at least part of it.
  • Like "He That Believeth In Me" and "Valley of Darkness", this episode's title is derived from Christian traditions; Blessed Be the Tie that Binds is a Protestant hymn celebrating the unity that comes from love.
  • According to Michael Taylor, in this episode "we say goodbye to another longtime character, though who that is and the manner of his or her departure should come as a surprise."[1]
  • The script was being written while "Razor" was still in pre-production.[1]
