Clive Madras is a Sagittaron political leader who advocates the protection of Sagittaron culture from Caprica influence.

Finding Caprican culture corrupt, he advocates against the importation of Caprican technology, believing it to be against scripture. Responding to the Attack at Benedict Trade Station, he warns that escalations would continue if Caprica persists in its trade efforts, leading up to war (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War #1).

During the inevitable Caprica-Sagittaron Conflict, Madras continues to support the Sagittaron terrorist efforts, including the seizure of Akins Transluminal Orbital Manufacturing Facility. He denounces Caprica's military response of destroying planetside munitions factories as "cowardly and evil" (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War #2).

Before the final escalation at the Battle of Sagittaron Bellarias, Madras meets with Jennings at a peace talk overseen by Picon's Aurellia Lorelei on Bainstrom Space Station; Jennings ends the talks by walking away from them during a heated debate, voicing his belief that Madras was an extremist advocating a backwards culture (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War #3).

Following the Cimtar Peace Accords, Madras continues advocating his hardline positions despite the effects of the First Cylon War (Battlestar Galactica: Cylon War #4.

Notes

• The Hunter-Madras Production Facility is named after him. The degree of Madras' involvement with this facility is unknown.

Re-imagined Series definition: a nickname used as a substitute for an aviator's given name in wireless communications and in conversation

Galactica 1980 definition:  Dillon is called both a terrorist and a chauvinist by Jamie Hamilton during their phone call from the police station; he asks Troy "what's a terrorist chauvinist?" (1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I")
