Lymari Nadal (born 11 February 1978 in Ponce, Puerto Rico) is an American actress and the third wife of Edward James Olmos at the time of the Re-imagined Series' production.
Nadal has a minor role as Giana, a refugee from Caprica, in the Miniseries. She later reprised the role in the coda film The Plan.
While her appearance in the Miniseries was brief, Nadal earned an award nomination for her work as Eve in Ridley Scott's 2007 biographical crime film American Gangster opposite Denzel Washington.
Nadal married Olmos in 2001 and separated in 2013, noting that Olmos is "a wonderful man and we have had a wonderful relationship" and that "he is like a father to my daughter."[1] Sometime between that time and 2017, she began dating Bill Cameron of American Fidelity, who later assisted her in her humanitarian efforts in Puerto Rico during the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.[2]
She relocated to Oklahoma City sometime around 2013[2], after acting in a handful of roles between 2001 and 2016.
She has a Masters Degree in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico.[3]
