Battlestar Wiki:Original Series Article Development Project

The Original Series Article Development Project is a long-winded title for a fairly large project to develop articles relating to the original Battlestar Galactica.

Reasoning

Currently, much of our attention is directed at providing information to the current Battlestar Galactica series. While the articles relating to that series are very well developed, the area of the original series remains lacking in comparison. This was noted by Spencerian on the Wiki's general talk page, which said, in part:

... BSG Wiki has one Achille's Heel; the comparative lack of information on the Original Series pages as opposed to the Re-imagined Series is almost shameful ...

Therefore the drive into creating content for the original series should be a concern. Obviously, this is a voluntary effort, but any fans of the original series who wish to contribute are welcome to focus their efforts in creating articles related to the original Battlestar Galactica.

Featured Episode Who's your daddy? "The Man with Nine Lives" is the current featured episode. Contributors are encouraged to watch the featured episode and update its episode summary and help work on the episode's to do list. Episode Summary - To Do List Article Todo List by Episode This section is going to be huge and unwieldy at first, but it will be used as a staging ground for organizing an episode by episode to-do list, so that as people watch the "featured episode of the period" (a forthcoming feature, hopefully with a better title) they can easily navigate to the articles that need to be updated (or created). This could theoretically be implemented by using categories, but some articles would gain upwards of 20 cats, which might get ugly. Saga of a Star World Roughly 160 articles link to Saga of a Star World. I'll pick out some that need obvious attention. Feel free to add to the list. A transcript of the episode can be found here.
