Starbuck finds himself in Proteus Prison.

Prisoners on the Proteus prison planetoid, who are either criminals themselves or the descendants of the first batch of criminals, known as the "Original Sinners".

When Starbuck is brought to Proteus, he encounters the descendants of the Original Sinners, finding that these descendants are named for the crime they (or their Original Sinner) committed, as well as a number (TOS: "The Long Patrol").
