Armament Day apparently celebrates the Colonial Military. It may have been some sort of air show to entertain civilians, perhaps the celebration of remembering heroes of the Colonial Military.

Apollo sarcastically comments that the closest that the female shuttle pilots have ever been to a Viper is on this day (TOS: "Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I").

{{{summary}}}Armament room=The armament room is an area on Galactica's tech levels. Starbuck tells Corporal Komma that the female Viper pilots could likely be found in this room. Komma falls for this ruse and leaves the computer room in order to ingratiate himself with the females, leaving Starbuck alone, thus allowing him to program the computer so that he can be included in the mission to Arcta without anyone else's knowledge (TOS: "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I").

Notes

  • Given this room's presence on the tech level, it is likely that it is similar to an armory, which acts as a storage and creation area for munitions.
