I've programmed the portal so that it changes the featured article and picture every month, that way it'll keep things fresh. Of course, I need some ideas for episodes that we should feature. So just keep in mind that we need to focus on all three BSG series on this... but lay down some ideas for episodes we should feature on this portal.
Furthermore, I'd like the feature article and feature picture to be in sync. For instance, we're running "33" as the featured episode, with the picture of "Lest We Forget" as the featured picture, since the latter is in the same episode.
- It's a nice idea in theory and automated things would help, but I think we already have too many things that need to be changed weekly and monthly to keep them updated. This would just add even more work for little benefit.
- Otherwise: Saga of a Starworld, Lost Planet of the Gods, The Living Legend, The Hand of God (TOS), The Return of Starbuck, Act of Contrition, Flesh and Bone, Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II (or both), Valley of Darkness, Fragged, Resurrection Ship, Part II, Scar, Downloaded, Occupation/Precipice, Collaborators, Torn, Unfinished Business, Maelstrom, The Son Also Rises.
- In general it might be a good idea to stay away from the usual suspects and/or big battle episodes no matter how good they might be and feature some good episodes that don't get so much attention. Hence for example "Collaborators", "Torn" or "The Son Also Rises". -- Serenity 09:56, 3 March 2008 (CST)
- True. However, once we get things automated, I think we'll be all set and won't have to worry about it for a year or so. (And even if we kept the same rotation for two years or more, most people won't notice that we run the same rotation episodes per month, anyway. As so long as it changes, I think we'll be fine, for the most part.) I also like the idea of staying away from episodes that are big on battles or are the usual suspects (like "The Living Legend", "War of the Gods", "Kobol's Last Gleaming", etc.) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 10:14, 3 March 2008 (CST)
