Operation Raptor Talon is a military operation occurring on day 4,571 of the First Cylon War.
The objective of the mission is to attack an unnamed "ice planet", which is rumored to house a Cylons superweapon. According to intelligence on hand, the Cylons have three Raider wings, ground forces, defensive batteries and nuclear weapons (Razor Flashbacks, Episode 1).
Raptors from Raptor Squadron 2 are the first to be launched in the operation, but are ambushed by Cylon forces; among those hurt in the initial engagement were Jaycie McGavin, who was severely injured when her console exploded (Razor Flashbacks, Episode 2).
