Bio-pulse line

From the only original and legitimate Battlestar Wiki: the free-as-in-beer, non-corporate, open-content encyclopedia, analytical reference, and episode guide on all things Battlestar Galactica. Accept neither subpar substitutes nor subpar clones.
Revision as of 03:48, 30 September 2007 by Joe Beaudoin Jr. (talk | contribs) (well, it qualifies as an article now, and not just a redirect)

The bio-pulse line is an unspecified bodily function, possibly an emotional state.

Starbuck attempts to use this as an excuse to not join Apollo's mission to clear the Cylon minefield (Saga of a Star World).

Notes

The bio-pulse line is a means of monitoring a Warriors bodily functions while flying Vipers, in order to determine the current condition of a pilot. The information from this is said to be "fed to an on-board computer that compares [the current data] with stored records of the Warriors natural responses". From this information, the computer can "make instantaneous corrections by adjusting the pressure in the Warriors g-suit, changing the mix of the breathing solution, or by injecting needed hormones and enzymes directly into the bloodstream".[1]
