Redemption is the seventh, and last, published book in his Original Series-based continuation story line.

Notes

According to Richard Hatch, this was not meant to be the final book in the series of Battlestar Galactica novels he wrote: he wrote books 7 and 8 as a two part story and book 7, Redemption, actually ends on a cliffhanger. However, there were various legal arguments over the publishing rights which resulted in the rights being lost. Whether the 8th book (which Hatch has already written) will ever be published, remains currently unknown.[citation needed]
