In 2008, Omaid appeared in "He That Believeth in Me," the Season 4 premiere of Battlestar Galactica, directed by Michael Rymer and written by David Weddle and Bradley Thompson. He portrayed Shaunt, an associate of Charlie Connor (Ryan Robbins) who assists in an attempted assassination of Dr. Gaius Baltar (James Callis).

Subsequent Television and Film

Following his Battlestar Galactica appearance, Omaid worked steadily across Vancouver-based productions. In January 2012, he booked a role on Supernatural, which he described on his personal website as coming from a last-minute audition.[external 8] That same year, he spent a week on the set of True Justice opposite Steven Seagal.[external 9] He also landed a recurring role as a gun dealer on Red Widow (2013).[external 10]
