Renu Bakshi is the actress who portrayed Abasi Lowe in the Caprica episodes "Rebirth" and "Reins of a Waterfall".

Bakshi is a reporter for Vancouver-based television station CIVT-TV.[1] Bakshi worked as a stringer on the channel YTV through 1989 to 1994 and a producer on BCTV in 1996 and 1997.[2] She was listed on The Vancouver Sun's "100 South Asians who are making a difference in British Columbia".[3]
