Hippolyta is a student of Athena Academy on Caprica in 42YR, and is one of the first students Sister Clarice Willow recruits into the Soldiers of the One.
Following her recruitment, Hippolyta was present at Monotheist meetings attended by Ben Stark, her boyfriend Pann, and Keon Gatwick (CAP: "Reins of a Waterfall), and later aligns with Barnabas Greeley against Willow, as Greeley's radical and violent approach chaffed with Willow's own agenda of Apotheosis (CAP: "Retribution").
