Judith Maxie is a Canadian actress and voice artist who portrayed the Picon Delegate to the post-Second Exodus Quorum of Twelve in "The Ties That Bind".
Career
edit sourceMaxie is the daughter of Eleanor Collins, a pioneering Canadian jazz singer who was the first woman and first person of color in North America to host her own nationally broadcast television series.[external 1] She has established a substantial career in Canadian television and film, particularly in Vancouver-based productions.
Throughout her career, Maxie has appeared in numerous science fiction and genre productions. Her television credits include appearances in Sliders, The X-Files, M.A.N.T.I.S., Millennium, The Outer Limits, and Poltergeist: The Legacy.[production 1] More recent work includes roles in Supergirl, The Flash, The Good Doctor, and iZombie.[production 2]
Maxie has frequently been cast in authority roles, particularly as judges in various television movies and series.
