Robert Arp contributed the essay "And They Have a Plan: Cylons as Persons" to Battlestar Galactica and Philosophy: Knowledge Here Begins Out There.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 20, 1970 and grew up in Cicero, Illinois.[1]

He is the author of Scenario Visualization[2] and the editor of South Park and Philosophy. He has also co-edited, with Mark D. White, the forthcoming Batman and Philosophy.[3]

He received his B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy at The Catholic University of America, and a Ph.D. at Saint Louis University. He is currently doing postdoctoral research at the National Center for Biomedical Ontology.[4]
