Skipper is the name of Willie Griffin's faithful dog.
While playing with Skipper in a nearby open field, Griffin happens across Troy and Dillon's Vipers (1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part I").

- Skipper is not given his name in dialogue until the start of the first act in "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part II".
