Sixth-millennium starfighters are obsolete spacecraft that the Proteus enforcers use to patrol and defend Proteus, having been in service circa 6800s. Croad pilots such a craft, pursuing a sixth-millennium shuttle smuggling ambrosa (TOS: "The Long Patrol").
Notes
- The design of the sixth-millennium starfighter is extremely similar to that of the Colonial Viper, with the sixth-millennium starfighter fuselage much more squat and featuring two engine turbines rather than three. It, like the Viper, is armed with a pair of laser cannons.
- Given Proteus' severance from the Colonies during the Thousand-Yahren War, and the age of Ambrosa at the time Starbuck encounters Robber as numbering 500 yahrens, the model's known service history is more likely than not defined as being within the latter of half of the sixth-millennium.
