Battlestar Galactica jumps ahead in a location in space known as NCD2539 which is used by the Cylons as a supply route.

Having recently taken several infected Cylon agent prisoners from a sick Basestar, Admiral William Adama intentionally visits this area to hopefully lure Cylon forces, including a Resurrection Ship, into the area. The Colonials intend to kill their Cylon agent prisoners, whose consciousnesses would download and infect the Cylon populace with a human virus with a bioelectric pathogen that would effectively annihilate the Cylon race.

Before long, two Raiders jump into the vicinity ahead of the Cylon Fleet to scout. Upon noticing Galactica, they jump back to report and soon bring their fleet in tow consisting of five basestars and a Resurrection Ship.

Galactica in turn launces multiple Vipers and Raptors alike, with the latter firing an open salvo of multiple missles into the Cylon Raider swarm.
