Sidney Hayers (born 24 August 1921 in Edinburgh, Scotland, died 8 February 2000 in Altea, Spain), was a British-born TV and film director.
After directing the acclaimed films Circus of Horrors (1960) and Night of the Eagle (1962), Hayers took a hand at British and American television series with directorial credits in many popular 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s shows, including notable programs as:
- The Avengers
- The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries
- The Greatest American Hero
- Magnum P.I.
- Knight Rider
- Remington Steele
- The A-Team
- Scarecrow and Mrs. King
Hayers directed the three-part Galactica 1980 premiere episode, "Galactica Discovers Earth".
Hayers died on February 8, 2000 from complications of cancer. He was survived by his wife, actress Erika Remberg.
