Shuttle Alpha is the shuttle that Troy and Dillon use to escape with the Super Scouts during the attack on the freighter Delphi.
The ship is damaged by the explosion of Delphi, forcing the craft to land on Earth as it does not have enough fuel to reach the Fleet.
In order to avoid the ship's discovery by Earth's people, the ship is launched into space (1980: "The Super Scouts, Part I").
