The rapid transport trolly is a transportation system aboard Galactica designed to get the pilots to their Vipers as quickly as possible.
This transport system is used during emergencies when Galactica needs to quickly launch her fighters. This system is not used for routine patrols, when the pilots make their way using more conventional means (Saga of a Star World).
