Tucanas are the species of the Tucana singers encountered on Carillon by Starbuck and Boomer.
Tucanas mainly humanoid in appearance, though are four-eyed and two-mouthed. The lower mouth is capable of generating a low-pitch capable of breaking glass if sustained for a long period of time (Saga of a Star World).
According to the Writer's Guide, Tucanas are "feline, three-dimensional creatures".[1]
