Nogow was the rather pig-headed leader of the Boar-like Borays on Sectar, consistently attacking the Human-run town of Serenity. Apparently he lead attacks when the moon is full on Sectar, which appears to be several times during a sectare. Sire Bogan and his townspeople just simply decided to place all the food where it can be easily taken, and of course Nogow's Borays made a pretty good job of knocking-off constable after constable with a pathetic show of force, as well as allowed for other Borays to take the human female of their choice.

When Starbuck came along, the Borays under Nogow's command were driven back, however he managed to take Siress Belloby. Starbuck managed to strike a deal with Nogow, he would be constable of the town and could have all the food and drink he desired. Apparently, he was also quite fond of Belloby, and both were apparently attracted to one another since Nogow was quite the "animal" -- according to Belloby. (The Magnificent Warriors)

Portrayed by Ben Frommer

Notes

Apparently, all the Borays under his command were all male and desired females. Ergo the obvious question: Was there a "hidden" (i.e. blatantly overt) message in this?
