Deitra is one of the many shuttle pilots that were turned into Viper pilots during the Viper corps crisis. She proved herself to be a capable pilot (during the Battle of Kobol), and was present when Cylons on Kobol mortally wounded Apollo's bride, Serina (Lost Planet of the Gods).
Deitra is also seen launching in a Viper during the Battle at Galaxy's Edge (The Hand of God).
Notes
- A version of the "Lost Planet of the Gods" script had it that Deitra was a shuttle pilot from Battlestar Atlantia. As this remains only in a version of the script, it is not part of the Battlestar canon.
- The actress that portrays Deitra also appears as a stewardess in Galactica 1980's "The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I".
