Johnston Gray (also credited as Johnson Gray) is a Canadian child actor who portrayed the young Darius for three episodes: Caprica's "The Imperfections of Memory", "Ghosts in the Machine" and "End of Line". The character appears in Amanda's traumatic visions and flashbacks related to a car crash that killed Darius when they were younger, an event that caused Amanda to suffer a mental breakdown and spend time in the Delphi Convalescent Institute.

The character of young Darius was also portrayed by Jesse Haddock in certain scenes, notably those relating to Tomas Vergis' driver and some earlier scenes where Amanada sees him appear at the makeshift Maglev 23 Memorial. Haddock's scenes were released as deleted scenes on home video releases, as they were part of a story thread regarding excised from the episodes that lead to the mid-season finale.
