Talos (talkcontribsedit countpage movesblock userblock log) – Mr. Talos is nothing short of excellent. Though at his young age he has contributed more to this wiki than most people know. Along with his help at the articles themselves, he is an active and very prolific uploader of screen captures for episodes and for whatever else a user might desire. His most ambiguous work is dealing with the military articles and that is something we all need. While not as active as some, his contributions to discussions and his images are nothing short of extraordinary. --Shane (T - C - E) 12:23, 12 October 2006 (CDT)

Support

  1. Support per nom. --Shane (T - C - E) 12:23, 12 October 2006 (CDT)
  2. Support Talos is a dedicated and superior image uploader, and also helps maintain some of the martial content, bringing to bear his JROTC and ROTC experience and perspective. --Steelviper 12:26, 12 October 2006 (CDT)
  3. Support Talos has been a "secret weapon" below the radar going about improving the wiki. Also, there is a need for someone with enthusiasm for media to "help" with media.battlestarwiki.org, the media server. --FrankieG 19:20, 12 October 2006 (CDT)
  4. Support. Talos has been around for as long as I have, and has been an unwavering contributor. The success of Battlestar Galactica means that we're very busy here (with at least 5 new users per day), and we need more admins to mop. Talos is a more than suitable candidate. --Spencerian 20:33, 12 October 2006 (CDT)
  5. Support --April Arcus 04:45, 13 October 2006 (CDT)
  6. Support Wow lots of RFA's this week, but every one of them has my full support --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 04:51, 13 October 2006 (CDT)

Questions for the candidate

A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What duties, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Battlestar Wiki:Project List's for a list of projects.
A. Well, I would definately continue to do what I have been, contributing to military pages, uploading screencaps and such, and fixing typos and other problems. I would expand what I'm doing, as well as stuff like the Citation Jihad, Characters, and Requested Images projects.
2. Of your articles or contributions here, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. I'm most proud of my work with the Vipers, cataloguing them as well as helping on the main model pages. Most of the Viper pages here were started by me, and most have screencaps I've posted. Examples of ones I wrote are: Viper 4267 and Viper 412. Ones I uploading pictures for include Viper 7242 and Viper 2276. Most are stubs, but are updated whenever information becomes available, a good example is Viper 1104, a page I started. I also pleased with my work to expand the uniform page, including providing pictures of the various uniforms.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A. I've generally been laid back and have stayed out of pretty much all of the major conflicts here since my view point was usually spoken by someone already. I haven't really had much stress here, I don't let things bother me very much. I'll try in the future to take a much more visible role in helping with and solving problems like that.
