Phantom is a Raptor pilot or ECO on Galactica who works with Sunshine.

During the search for Laura Roslin and the rebel Cylon basestar after its Jump from the Fleet, William Adama notes that Phantom and Sunshine's Raptor is still searching, however Kara Thrace notes that the ship is a day overdue. Adama then orders here to dispatch ships to start from Phantom's last known position and work from there (TRS: "Sine Qua Non").

Notes

  • The dialogue regarding "Phantom" remains in the episode as originally scripted, along with Kara Thrace's reaction to sending her pilots on a "suicide mission." In earlier dialogue removed from this scene (likely during post-production or in a revision phase), "Sunshine" originates from dialogue in the script for "Sine Qua Non". While its canonicy remains nebulous, its presence is noted here as nothing in the way of aired content contradicts this piece of information.
