- Another "Razor" preview was shown during Flash Gordon and is available on YouTube.
- Hasbro is selling a 3-pack of die-cast metal Battlestar Galactica models, which include the Raptor, the Viper Mark II and the Galactica herself, exclusively on HasbroToyShop.com. This is the set that was debuted and released at the San Diego Comic Con in July.
- Nana Visitor, known to genre viewers as Kira Nerys on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, will appear in at least one episode of Battlestar Galactica.
- The BSG ComicCon panel is available on SciFi Pulse. Attending are Ron Moore, David Eick, Mary McDonell, Tricia Helfer, Katee Sackhoff and Lucy Lawless.
- Battlestar Galactica has been nominated for four Emmy® awards. The episode "Exodus, Part II" has been nominated for "Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series", "Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series" and "Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series". Together, "Occupation" and "Precipice" have been nominated for "Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series". A list of all the nominations can be seen here.
- A 30th anniversary reunion celebration called "GalactiCruise" will be held in 2008 from September 15th through the 19th. Terry Carter (TOS's Colonel Tigh), Jack Stauffer (TOS's Bojay), Denny Miller (TOS's Ser 5-9), and Aaron Douglas (TNS's Galen Tyrol) have been confirmed, with many more planning to make it, including Richard Hatch (Apollo/Tom Zarek), Anne Lockhart (TOS's Sheba) and cast and crew from the new and original series, as well as people who participated in "Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming".
