Baltar attempts to curry favor of Borellian Nomen with Borellian desert layers (in reality, a Cornish game hen) aboard the Prison Barge ^{(TOS: "Baltar's Escape")}.

Borellian desert layers are a type of delicacy originating from Borella, made from a living creature akin to a broiler.

Baltar saves something akin to this for the Borellian Nomen on the Prison Barge, in order to solicit their help in his escape plan ^{(TOS: "Baltar's Escape")}.

Notes

The "Borellian desert layers" are Cornish game hens.
