Fred Keating (born 1949) is the American actor who portrayed a reporter on Caprica during the Cylon attack in the Miniseries.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Keating has acted in such genre series as The 4400, Supernatural, The Dead Zone, Millennium, and The X-Files.

His daughter, Katie Keating, portrayed Caston in Caprica.

Katie Keating (born September 19, 1990) is a Canadian actress who portrays Caston in the Caprica pilot.

The daughter of actor Fred Keating, she was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with her first credited role in 2000's Suspicious River under the stage name of "Mary-Kate Welsh".
