Crashdown was the callsign of a Raptor ECO who replaced Karl "Helo" Agathon (33) after Sharon Valerii left Helo behind on Cylon-occupied Caprica. (Mini-Series) He was involved with the discovery of a water source for the Fleet (Water), the Cylon-held tylium mine (The Hand of God), and the planet Kobol (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I).

Biographical Notes

Despite Lt. Valerii's initial misgivings of him (she referred to him as a "refugee from Triton"), Crashdown was a loyal officer. His actions included the defense of Lt. Valerii to Sgt. Hadrian prior to Valerii's being taken away for questioning. (Litmus)

He was the object of Ensign Davis' affections. (The Hand of God, Colonial Day)

After Valerii had attempted suicide, Crashdown accompanied the mission to investigate Kobol, which met with disastrous results. The Cylons had already taken position above the planet, causing the destruction of one raptor, the retreat of another and damage to Crashdown's Raptor. He piloted Raptor 1 after its pilot was killed, crash-landing on Kobol near the ruins of the Tomb of Athena (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II) where he later was killed by Baltar when he threatened to kill Cally.
