Ovions are insectoid creatures that manage a mysterious gambler's paradise on the planet Carillon (Saga of a Star World). They are one of the members of the Cylon Empire.
The Ovions use Carillon's playground in the surface to attract their prey and trap them in hive-like structures underground, which slowly transform them into food. Named characters include Queen Lotay and Seetol.
The Ovions would provide the Cylons fuel in exchange for their freedom from the Cylon Empire.
