Template:CAP

Documentation

This template allows for easy inline citation of episodes (up to 8 per line), with the parentheses already surrounding the citation.

Usage

Singular episode:

{{CAP|Episode Title 1}}

Multiple episodes:

{{CAP|Episode Title 1|Episode Title 2|Episode Title 3}}

In using this template, simply put in the ARTICLE NAME of the episode, sans any quotes or wikisyntax. You may add up to 8 episode titles, each separated by the pipe — | — character.

Notation of Deleted Scenes

For episode noting information from deleted scenes, an additional parameter is used, in the form of |del#=Y, with the pound sign signifying the number value assigned to a specific episode in the citation call.

Singular episode (wherein the first episode title is referred to as |del1=Y:

Multiple episodes (wherein the deleted scene is referred to the second episode title, ergo |del2=Y):

Notation of Deleted Scenes

Singular episode:

[[Sister Clarice]] tells [[Lacy Rand]] that she grew up in the slums of [[Sagittaron]] {{CAP|Pilot (Caprica)|del1=Y}}.

Prints: Sister Clarice tells Lacy Rand that she grew up in the slums of Sagittaron (CAP: "Pilot" deleted scene).

Multiple episodes:

[[Abasi Lowe]] and [[Steve Bahara]] broadcast "[[Pyramid Tonight]]" from {{RDM|Caprica}}'s [[Atlas Arena]] {{CAP|Rebirth|Reins of a Waterfall|Apotheosis (episode)|del2=Y}}.

Prints: Abasi Lowe and Steve Bahara broadcast "Pyramid Tonight" from Caprica's Atlas Arena (CAP: "Rebirth", "Reins of a Waterfall" deleted scene, "Apotheosis").

Prose Form

For citations where the Galactipedian wishes to include the series and episode title into the prose, the |prose=y option exists.

Examples

Singular episode:

While Avan Jogia is credited as a series regular for the {{CAP|Pilot (Caprica)|prose=y}}, he is later billed as a guest star in {{CAP|Rebirth|prose=y}}.

Prints: While Avan Jogia is credited as a series regular for the Caprica's "Pilot", he is later billed as a guest star in Caprica's "Rebirth".

Re-imagined Series definition: standard deployment of craft on defense posture, an anachronistic colloquialism used to refer to patrols in space

Caprica definition: a belief held by members of the STO, including Clarice Willow, with various view points ^{(CAP: "Reins of a Waterfall")}. Willow believes that the STO can prevail if they use Zoe Graystone's program to offer real eternal life to their members in the form of holographic avatars. One of the Hybrids also uses this term during the Fall of the Colonies, stating "Apotheosis was the beginning before the beginning" ^{(TRS: "The Plan")}. (See: resurrection program)
