Congratulations! Or was your birthday like two months ago and did you only think to update it now? ;) Anyway, we have [[Template:Age]] that updates this automatically. If, for instance, today is your birthday, <code><nowiki>{{age|1984|08|27}}</nowiki></code> will always show your correct age. --[[User:Catrope|Catrope]]([[User talk:Catrope|Talk to me]] or [[Special:Emailuser/Catrope|e-mail me]]) 16:18, 27 August 2007 (CDT) | Congratulations! Your Last Box Thing
I really dig it. Any chance that you can point me to a link or something so I might have my own? (If you want to remain unique, though, I understand :D)--MikeDanger 21:02, 24 November 2006 (CST)
- What do you mean my "last box thing"? Feel free to nick the code if you want thuogh, I probably nicked it form someone else too lol --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 05:26, 25 November 2006 (CST)

Category Cloud
Sorry about not setting up my contact email address on moonfire.us, I apparently forgot to finish that last little step before the site went live. Oops. :) It works properly now if you have more questions. I already created an entry for the extension on the MediaWiki site, you can find the extension at Extension:CategoryCloud. It should be fairly clear on how to use it, but the basic is you create a category that is a parent to all the categories you want in the cloud. Then, point to that using:
<category-cloud category="MyTopLevelCategory"></category-cloud>
And from there, everything should work magically. If you have any questions, feel free try contact@moonfire.us, my ISP says it is working properly now (that I set it up).

- Thanks i'll be able to play with this on the test wiki now --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 09:41, 6 February 2007 (CST)
- Sweet! That looks like it's exactly what Merc was hunting for. Merc: Maybe a separate cloud for RDM vs TOS? Or were you thinking of including ALL cats? --Steelviper 09:59, 6 February 2007 (CST)
- I'm going to play with it offline for a bit. Ive got a few modification I want to do to improve it. We might need to do a bit of work actually on the wiki to improve performance but this looks like the base of something I can really work on here :D --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 10:12, 6 February 2007 (CST)
- BAH! Released under GNU which means Im not allowed to modify the code. Might have to give the guy another buzz about that. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 10:16, 6 February 2007 (CST)
- GPL just means you need to post your changes to the plugin if you make any. I just like to see what people do to my code and sometimes I roll it back in into the primary branch. If it is a problem, I can switch to MIT license, which I'm considering. -- DylanMoonfire 10:49, 6 February 2007 (CST)
- I personally don't see the problem here. If Mercifull decides to modify this thing and put it up on BSWiki, the GPL says he has to release his modified version under the GPL as well, meaning he has to publish the source code. Assuming Mercifull has no problem with that, he can just put it up at Extension:CategoryCloud and be done with it. Hell, he could even copy&paste the Extension:CategoryCloud page from MediaWiki. For more info on the GPL go here. (We're dealing with Freedom 3 here.) --Catrope 13:36, 6 February 2007 (CST)

I don't know of the status here, but I've uploaded a new version of the plugin at the Extension:CategoryCloud page on MediaWiki. It fixes a couple of bugs and adds a pfunc version. Cheers!
- Thanks, now that the season has finished airing I can actually get back to work on stuff :) --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 18:11, 30 March 2007 (CDT)
Need a main logo with a Orange ribbion re: VTech
n/t Shane (T - C - E) 03:22, 20 April 2007 (CDT)
- I dont wanna sound disrespectful here but wheres the logo for people that died in the holocaust, wheres the logo for all the servicemen killed in iraq, wheres the logo for all the civilians killed in wars every day? It was a horrible tragedy and just thinking about it makes me sad but is a logo really the best way to remember and to show respect or is it just jumping on a bandwagon? --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 03:27, 20 April 2007 (CDT)

Holy Shit
Sorry to hear about your car and everything man, I hope everything works out for you! --BklynBruzer 10:08, 30 June 2007 (CDT)
- It's good you're actually a Cylon and have spare bodies...too bad that your car can't come back that way. :) Take care. --Spencerian 18:14, 30 June 2007 (CDT)
- Maybe his car can, too. Anyway, take care, Matt. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 02:17, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- Bit of Chinese whispers going on here lol. Car is being fixed next week, its not totalled and im all ok. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 06:50, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- So what happened? We need details. Was it your fault? ;) --Serenity 06:57, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- It was my fault I crashed yeah, but it was an odd series of events. Ill try to explain it with minimum words. Driving along the main road (single carriageway) coming past the Frome Flier and leaving Frome on the way to Trowbridge at approx 7:15pm. Approximately 2 minutes before I went down that road, a motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and it crashed into a tree. The bike was split into three while the cyclist rolled into the road. A Mitsubishi Warrior pickup had pulled into the side of the road in my direction. I came down the road around the corner and see both the cyclist in the middle of the road with people (his bike buddies) all around him. There were at this time no emergency services on site. I saw the warrior on the left of the road but had nowhere to go. I slammed on the brakes and went as far right as I could without going close to the people stood in the road but clipped the left side of my car against the back metal bumper that stuck out of the pickup. It was only a relatively slow impact and air bags did not inflate but at the end of the day I clipped a pickup and they aren't exactly made of balsa wood. My car is in the repair shop now and they expect to start repairs on Thursday which will probably take a week or two depending on how busy they are. So that's the accident in a nutshell. Noone was hurt or injured only the side of my car (which ive only had for 2 weeks) but it'll get fixed (insurance covered) and ill get it back by the end of the month. My only worry now is if the police decide to give me points for the accident but I wont know that for a week or two. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 07:06, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- Ah ,that sucks, but doesn't seem to be too bad. :) Your story was a bit confusing, until I remembered that you drive on the left side of the road. lol. --Serenity 07:09, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- It's incredibly annoying but it'll all be repaired ok. Only 2 inches more to the right and i'd have only knocked my wing mirror off. Another 10 inches and I would have missed completely. In the confusion with people and cars all in the road I hit the pickup. Was my fault for hitting the pickup but its better than hitting people in the road. The motorcyclist was lucky to be alive. Managed to get away with a broken leg and fractures wrist. Could have been a lot worse, if he had been on the bike when he hit the tree then it would have been him in pieces in the road not just his bike. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 07:21, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- Well, what counts here is that no lives were lost. (Which is what I was really concerned about after hearing Shane's voice mail.) At least the car will get fixed by the insurance, and hopefully the police don't add points to your license. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 11:12, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- I must admit i was a bit vague with the details when I spoke to Shane hehe. Sorry about that. I'm not hurt at all. No bruising or neck pains, I didn't hit the car head on. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 16:28, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- That's wonderful news, dude :) --BklynBruzer 18:35, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
- Good to hear you're not hurt and your car hasn't died :D --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 05:58, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

White-on-white edit count
Any chance you can fix Special:Editcount? Looks like a CSS problem to me. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 10:39, 3 July 2007 (CDT)
- I already told Shane about this, he must have forgotten. Its not a CSS error its a bug in the actual extension taking the wrong attributes. If you see him before I do just give him a gentle reminder. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 11:00, 3 July 2007 (CDT)
- Doh. I thought I did that... umm.. I will take a quick look into it. :) Shane (T - C - E) 18:15, 3 July 2007 (CDT)

BS Forum Help
Hey there. Could you reset my email on the forum to kspencerian@gmail.com? Also, I've forgotten my password. If you can glean that and send that to me at the above address, that would be good. If not, can it be reset? If so, I can send you a message with a password? --Spencerian 12:44, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
- LOL! I'm not Merifull, but it's done. I changed your email and sent you a password reminder. --Serenity 12:52, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
- Thanks a bunch, not-Mercifull. :) --Spencerian 14:22, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
