During the Battle of the Binary Star System Green Squadron is the wireless callsign of a Viper squadron sortied by Pegasus. It is shown on the DRADIS screen participating in the battle and led by Catbird (TRS: "The Captain's Hand").

Similar terms[edit]

  • In a "A Day in the Life," Lee Adama orders his pilots to do flying and landing exercises, dividing them into red, blue, yellow and green "sections".

Notes[edit]

  • Originally it seemed that Green Squadron could be a standing squadron on Pegasus (similar to the naming scheme of the Original Series). However, later the terms Red and Blue Squadron are used for widely different units, which are led by different people. This suggests that it is merely a callsign to identify the squadrons on the wireless and DRADIS.
