Documentation

This template allows for easy inline citation of episodes (up to 8 per line), with the parentheses already surrounding the citation.

Usage

Singular episode:

{{RDMep|Episode Title 1}}

Multiple episodes:

{{RDMep|Episode Title 1|Episode Title 2|Episode Title 3}}

In using this template, simply put in the ARTICLE NAME of the episode, sans any quotes or wikisyntax. You may add up to 8 episode titles, each separated by the pipe — | — character.

Notation of Deleted Scenes

For episode noting information from deleted scenes, an additional parameter is used, in the form of |del#=Y, with the pound sign signifying the number value assigned to a specific episode in the citation call.

Singular episode (wherein the first episode title is referred to as |del1=Y:

Multiple episodes (wherein the deleted scene is referred to the second episode title, ergo |del2=Y):

Notation of Deleted Scenes

Singular episode:

[[Sister Clarice]] tells [[Lacy Rand]] that she grew up in the slums of [[Sagittaron]] {{RDMep|Pilot|del1=Y}}.

Prints: Sister Clarice tells Lacy Rand that she grew up in the slums of Sagittaron ^{(TRS/CAP: "Pilot" deleted scene)}.

Multiple episodes:

[[Abasi Lowe]] and [[Steve Bahara]] broadcast "[[Pyramid Tonight]]" from {{RDM|Caprica}}'s [[Atlas Arena]] {{RDMep|Rebirth|Reins of a Waterfall|Apotheosis (episode)|del2=Y}}.

Prints: Abasi Lowe and Steve Bahara broadcast "Pyramid Tonight" from Caprica's Atlas Arena ^{(TRS/CAP: "Rebirth", "Reins of a Waterfall" deleted scene and "Apotheosis")}.

Prose Form

For citations where the Galactipedian wishes to include the series and episode title into the prose, the |prose=y option exists.

Examples

Singular episode:

While Avan Jogia is credited as a series regular for the {{RDMep|Pilot|prose=y}}, he is later billed as a guest star in {{RDMep|Rebirth|prose=y}}.

Prints: While Avan Jogia is credited as a series regular for the Caprica's and the Re-imagined Series' "Pilot", he is later billed as a guest star in Caprica's and the Re-imagined Series' "Rebirth".

Citation hyperlinks for combination Caprica and Re-imagined Series episodes.
