Orphan Status

Can anybody find a place to link to this? It's currently an "orphan" and thus might be difficult to find. --Steelviper 10:34, 28 June 2006 (CDT)

While I fixed that (see Viper (RDM)), it could probably go for a mention on Kara Thrace by someone who can find a good spot to work it in. --CalculatinAvatar(C-T) 12:59, 28 June 2006 (CDT)
I thought once I had a more complete listing that it would be link off of the main galactica article.--RUSnooky 15:29, 11 June 2007 (CDT)

Thruster Pedal Weight Machine

I think that assuming that weight machine is specifically for simulating the force needed for a Viper's thruster pedal is rather silly. To me, that seemed to simply be a machine Starbuck was training on when Adama walked up and used it for that purpose. It looks to just be a normal adjustible weight leg workout machine. --BklynBruzer 08:04, 7 September 2006 (CDT)

It's a leg press. Hasn't the person who wrote that bit ever been in an actual weight room? Philwelch 04:35, 19 October 2006 (CDT)
Yeah, it's a normal leg press. That article needs to be edited. And while that would remove most of the text, the article isn't that important anyways --Serenity 11:40, 19 October 2006 (CDT)

Propose move

This article should be moved and expanded to discuss not only the weight room, but the entire "workout area" of Galactica, including the combatives room where Dualla and Apollo train and that place where D'anna walks in on Starbuck beating up on a punching bag. Philwelch 16:45, 19 October 2006 (CDT)

I agree. What should we call it though? Galactica's workout area? -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 18:22, 19 October 2006 (CDT)
Hmm, maybe a Galactica crew facilities page, this way it can include minor stuff like the pilot's lounge, the observation room Dee and Billy went too, etc. --Talos 21:00, 19 October 2006 (CDT)
That would probably be better, and it would definitely cover a lot more of Galactica's areas. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 21:57, 19 October 2006 (CDT)
Well if someone can move it to Galactica Crew Facilities (RDM), I'll begin the task of going through each episode and adding the appropraite facilities and descriptions. I don't have TOS on DVD, otherwise I'd do the same for it. I guess that can be a future project, once this one gets done.--RUSnooky 15:54, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
Done. Keep in mind that there are already articles for the Duty locker and the Pilot ready rooms. Listing those might still be a good idea, but one sentence and the use of the {{mainarticle|}} template is enough. Or is this article just for recreational rooms? In that case, those don't need to be listed. --Serenity 16:08, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
My thought was to include EVERYTHING, and for those that already have artice I will use the format and just link to them. --RUSnooky 16:17, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

Proper Noun

Since "Galactica Crew Facilities" isn't a proper noun, I will be moving the page to reflect this. Just an FYI. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 18:46, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

Crew Facilities

Do we want this page to incorporate ALL of Galactica's facilities, with refrence links to those facilities that warrant full articles (i.e. Brig, CIC) or do we want it to just be Crew "Support" Facilities?--RUSnooky 22:14, 10 June 2007 (CDT)

Probably just crew support facilities, since this will doubtless be linked from Galactica (RDM). -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 22:20, 10 June 2007 (CDT)
Sounds good, I just wanted to check before adding that stuff --RUSnooky 22:24, 10 June 2007 (CDT)

Rec Room

I thought (working off memory here) that Racetrack and Kat were in a duty locker because I remember thinking that it was odd she answered the phone "RACK room." I don't have Exodus DVRed anymore, so can someone possibly check that? I didn't like the name offcier's club either, but I wasn't sure what to call it.--RUSnooky 15:41, 11 June 2007 (CDT)

It looks like the normal off duty room, or whatever you might call it, to me. And I'm pretty sure she says "rec room". "Rack room" doesn't make that much sense. But maybe someone else can confirm it. --Serenity 15:50, 11 June 2007 (CDT)
If I recall correctly, "rec room" has been used more often throughout the series (I can't pinpoint them, though). If that is indeed the case, we can just switch to a less ambiguous example. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 15:52, 11 June 2007 (CDT)

Photos

Does anyone have screencaps of any of these locations? I think the page REALLY needs pics, but I don't have a way to grab a screencap.--RUSnooky 00:03, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

Definitely. If no one else gets around to doing it, I can rustle through my DVDs and grab some shots. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 09:51, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

I'm currently doing interior screenshots. There is an awesome view of the rec room at the end of "Exodus, Part I" at about 40:50. It would be cool to have a DVD screenshot of that. I also tried to get a good view of the wardroom, but it's hard to get an overall look at it. Again S3 might be good with "Rapture". There is an overhead shot at about 16:58. --Serenity 08:54, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

Wardroom Chairs

Would it be appropriate to mention in the Wardroom section that the chairs are the same as the chairs in the Clavius Base conference room from 2001: A Space Odyssey? -- SOLDIERofficer81 20:48, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, but not in the main body of the text. In-universe and behind-the-scenes information should be kept apart in articles like this. A footnote after the sentence mentioning the seating arrangements would be fine though. -- Serenity 21:05, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
